Coexistence of Kondo screening effect with the magnetic
long-range correlations in the Kondo lattice systems
Guang-Ming Zhang

A self-consistent mean field treatment had been developed for the Kondo lattice model, where both antiferromagnetic/ferromagnetic long-range correlations and the local Kondo screening effect can be considered on an equal footing. In the intermeidate Kondo coupling regime, we found that the Kondo screeening can coexist with the ferromagnetic long-range order in the low density of the conduction electrons, or with the antiferromagnetic long-range order in the half-filled case. These results have been confirmed by the quantum Monte Carlo simulations.
